Reimagining a Youth Centre Through VR, AI, and Community Participation
Reviving a local youth centre from the ground up. Used VR to let the community experience the vision before a single wall was painted — then launched a funding campaign that got the neighbourhood to back it. Currently in the building phase: we're painting the place together with the community.

About Me
I'm Dennis — a Dutch community builder and multidisciplinary content creator focused on bringing people, ideas, and culture together through storytelling, participation, and emerging technology.
Over the past years, I've worked at the intersection of community projects, content creation, and emerging technology — building youth spaces, leading creative initiatives, producing documentary-style media, and helping organizations tell stories that actually connect with people.
My work ranges from filming bicycle documentaries across Central America and creating cinematic Erasmus+ aftermovies, to designing VR-powered youth participation projects and consulting small businesses on faster, smarter creative workflows using AI tools and digital media.
What ties everything together is the same core idea: creating experiences that make people feel involved.
Whether I'm developing a community space, producing visual content, facilitating workshops, or building storytelling systems for brands and organizations — I'm always looking for ways to turn ideas into something human, engaging, and memorable.
